Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors are ideal for several applications, including machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, robotics, and packaging and food processing machines. They are servo motors with precise encoder systems, available with varying torques and speeds. These motors are also components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG1-NSNN is a model of the high-performance and compact servo motors in the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Like others in the series, it has a high torque density and a KTY84 thermal sensor in its windings to prevent damage from thermal overload. The sensor works with another independently operated temperature monitoring system called the temperature model. This MSK motor’s maximum speed is 4,200 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. Its output shaft is a plain type with a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. The shaft gives a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and promotes the machine’s noiseless operation, while its sealing ring prevents fluid from entering through the shaft.
According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG1-NSNN is IP 65. This is because its housing is sealed and impermeable to solid extrinsic objects and sprays from water jets. As a result, it can be safely used in harsh industrial environments. An electrically released holding brake of 23Nm holding torque holds this motor’s servo axis at a standstill when it is disconnected from power. The MSK model also features the standard and explosion protection design, according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D according to DIN EN 60079 et seqq. Its maximum ambient temperature for operation is 40oC.
