Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s servo motors are powerful devices with a wide range of functions. The servo motors of the MSK series by the company are compact units with high torque density and precise encoder systems. They are commonly used in machine tools, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is an MSK synchronous servo motor designed to be used as a rotary main or servo drive motor. Its maximum speed is 4,200 revolutions per minute, and it can reach a maximum torque of 84.0Nm. Operating the motor without risk of damage in poor environmental conditions is possible because of its sealed housing with an IP 65 rating per EN 60529. This means that it will not admit solid extrinsic objects or multidirectional water jet sprays. It is equipped with an optical single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface, whose system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds. The encoder permits the recording of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation.
A thermal sensor of the KTY84 type is built into the stator windings of the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN to prevent damage from thermal overload. It works with the temperature model, an independently-operated system, to carry out this protective function. The moment of inertia of the motor’s rotor is 0.00290 kgm2, and it has four pole pairs. Its output shaft is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring. It ensures a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and minimal noise during the machine’s operation. With the shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A, fluids are prevented from entering the machine through the shaft. It also has an electrically released holding brake of 23Nm holding torque.
