Product Description
One thing that Bosch Rexroth is known for is its creation of state-of-the-art drive and motion control units. Some are found in its high-performance Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, such as the MSK synchronous motors. These compact motors are used in robotics, food processing and packaging machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG0-NPNN is an MSK servo motor model featuring an optical encoder with a single-turn configuration. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and the Hiperface interface. Its data memory saves crucial information, including the motor type name and control loop parameters, to simplify and hasten its startup. The memory also ensures adaptation between the motor and its drive controller without risks of damage to the motor. This MSK model has four pole pairs and a maximum speed of 4,200 revolutions per minute. It can attain a maximum torque of 84.0Nm and has a rotor whose moment of inertia is 0.00290 kgm2.
Heat elimination from the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG0-NPNN is by natural convection. In this cooling method, the heat is transferred to the ambient air and to the machine construction by conduction. The servo motor has a plain shaft that guarantees a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and noiseless operation. It is also equipped with a KTY84 thermal sensor in its windings to protect it from damage by thermal overload. This sensitive thermal sensor works with an independently-operated system called the temperature model to prevent such damage. The MSK motor’s housing is sealed and has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529. Hence, solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jet sprays cannot penetrate it to cause damage.
