Product Description
With the increasing challenges in the automation industry comes the need for solutions. Bosch Rexroth consistently supplies solutions to these challenges with its wide range of products. The MSK synchronous servo motors are one of these. They are compact servo motors used in handling systems, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, and metal-forming machines. Their notable features include a wide power spectrum, narrow size increments, and a high torque density.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-AP1-NNAN is equipped with a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder has 128 increments and allows the detection of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. It also uses the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The MSK motor also has a holding brake that functions on the principle of electrical release and has a holding torque of 23Nm. This holding brake holds the motor at a standstill when it is disconnected from power. The motor has four pole pairs and a maximum speed of 4,200 revolutions per minute.
Two independent systems monitor the temperature of the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-AP1-NNAN, the temperature sensor, and the temperature model. The thermal sensor is the KTY84 type, and with the temperature model, it ensures that the motor is protected against irreversible damage by thermal overload. The motor also has a shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring that prevents damaging fluids from penetrating the motor through the shaft. Its protection category is IP 65 in accordance with IEC 60529, hence, it has complete shock protection. It is also protected against the penetration of solid extrinsic materials like dust and multidirectional water jet sprays.
