The shaft is fitted with a sealing ring for ingress protection. The motor is also equipped with a holding brake. This is a device designed to prevent motor accidental shaft rotation. The brake allows shaft rotation only after receiving an electrical release signal. Holding torque rating of the brake is 23 Nm. The voltage rating is 24 Volts DC and the current draw is 0.79 Amps.
