Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive system is composed of several products, including servo motors, drive controllers, converters, and mains filters. The servo motors in the MSK series are components of this drive system in the IndraDyn S family. Their typical applications are machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and food and packaging machines.
The MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UP2-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor in the MSK series. It cools using natural convection by transferring heat from the motor to the ambient air. This heat can also be transferred to the machine construction by conduction. There is a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type built into its stator to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload. The temperature sensor works with another system called the temperature model, which also works independently to protect the motor. An output shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 is present in this MSK model. It permits the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction and has fewer requirements for the shaft-hub connection.
A single-turn encoder is the encoder system of the MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UP2-NNNN. It has a Hiperface interface and works with the optical measuring principle to determine the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it replaces separate incremental encoders with this motor. The maximum speed of this MSK motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and its maximum torque is 66.0Nm. Its rotor has a moment of inertia of 0.00255 kgm2, and it has four pole pairs. Its coating consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water.
