It is designed for maintenance-free operation within the specified operating conditions. Its encoder has a single-turn configuration and a Hiperface interface. Using the optical measuring principle, it evaluates the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. It also has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and eliminates the use of separate incremental encoders with the motor.
