Product Description
Powerful servo motors like those in the MSK series are components of the innovative Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. These synchronous motors are part of the IndraDyn S family known for their compact construction and high torque density. The MSK motors are unique because of their versatility and scalability. Their areas of application are machine tools, packaging and food processing machines, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is a servo motor in the MSK series with a frame size of 071 and frame length D. It is designed for maintenance-free operation within the specified operating conditions. Its encoder has a single-turn configuration and a Hiperface interface. Using the optical measuring principle, it evaluates the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. It also has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and eliminates the use of separate incremental encoders with the motor. Another feature of this motor encoder is its data memory, where information like the motor type name and parameters are saved. It ensures that the motor can be started-up quickly.
A temperature sensor of the KTY84 is present in the MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN to protect it from damage due to thermal overload. The motor’s maximum speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a maximum torque of 66.0Nm. With its IP 65 Ingress Protection rating, it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jet sprays. This MSK model is equipped with a holding brake of 23Nm holding torque to hold the axes at a standstill when the machine is de-energized. Its output shaft is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A.
