Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn S group of synchronous motors are marked by their distinct product advantages. These include a compact construction, highly precise encoder systems, and high torque density. The MSK motors are a family of motors in this group commonly used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN is an MSK servo motor model on the IndraDrive platform from Bosch Rexroth. It is a self-cooling motor whose heat dissipation mechanism is natural convection. Equipped with a temperature sensor of the KTY84 type in its stator, it is protected from damage due to thermal overload. This temperature sensor works with a temperature model that operates independently of the sensor. There is a single-turn encoder in this motor that uses the optical measuring method for position detection. It has an Hiperface interface and permits the recording of the absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored.
A maximum torque of 66.0Nm can be generated by the MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN, and it can attain a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. It has four pole pairs and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00255 kgm2. According to IEC 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of this motor is IP 65. This means that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impermeable to sprays from water jets. Its output shaft is the plain type, and it has a shaft sealing ring that prevents liquids from entering the motor through its shaft. This shaft also ensures a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and promotes the motor’s quiet operation.
