Product Description
A wide power spectrum, high torque density and compact construction are some of the features of the innovative MSK series of servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. These servo motors are components of the intelligent Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and are suitable for several applications. These include machine tools, robotics, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK071D-0450-NN-M1-UP2-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a compact motor that uses an encoder with the multiturn configuration to precisely detect its position. The encoder has an Hiperface interface and uses the optical measurement method to perform its function. It also records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The data memory of this encoder is another feature that enhances the motor’s functionality. It stores information like the motor type name and its control loop parameters, ensuring that it safely adapts to its drive controller.
Cooling in the MSK071D-0450-NN-M1-UP2-NNNN is achieved via natural convection; hence, it is referred to as a self-cooling motor. Its maximum speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute and it generates a maximum torque of 66.0Nm. The motor has four pole pairs and a rotor whose moment of inertia is 0.00255 kgm2. Its protection class according to IEC 60529 is IP 65 as it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and safe from water jet sprays. This MSK models’ output shaft is one with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring. The shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760 - Design A. It also features an electrically-released holding brake of 30Nm holding torque.
