Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designs its factory automation units using the most innovative and advanced technology. It created the MSK servo motors to be used as rotary and servo main motors in a wide range of applications. These include machine tools, robotics, metal-forming machines, packaging and food processing machines, and printing and paper processing machines. The MSK servo motors are marked by their high torque density, compact size, and optical encoder systems.
The MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor in the MSK series. It features a multiturn absolute encoder with a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. Using the optical measuring principle, the encoder records the absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It also preserves the absolute position even after a switch-off. Heat dissipation from this motor is by natural convection; hence, the motor is a self-cooled motor where heat is transferred to the ambient air and the machine construction. When the MSK motor is required for operations with high levels of continuous power, blower units for axial and radial mounting can be used.
A plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring is used to connect machine elements to be driven to the drive shaft of the MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN. It ensures a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and allows the servo motor to be operated noiselessly. Two independently operated systems monitor the temperature of this MSK motor; the temperature sensor and the temperature model. Together, they protect the motor from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The Ingress Protection rating of the motor is IP 65 according to EN 60529, which means that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impermeable to water jets.
