Product Description
Servo motors are one of the components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The servo motors of the MSK series are compact motors with high density created by this manufacturer. They are synchronous servo motors ideal for highly dynamic operations. These motors are used as rotary and servo main motors in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, metal forming machines, packaging and food processing machines, and robotics.
The MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UG2-RNNN is a model of the maintenance-free synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the MSK series. It is equipped with an optical encoder with a multiturn configuration. This encoder has an EnDat 2.1 interface and allows the recording of the absolute, indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. Its system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds, and it features a data memory for the storage of the motor parameters. This MSK model can attain a maximum speed of 3,800 revolutions per minute and has four pole pairs.
When the machine is de-energized, an electrically-released holding brake in this motor holds the axes at a standstill. The holding torque of the holding brake is 30Nm, while its connection time is 35ms. This motor is coated in a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It is resistant to current mineral oils, dilute acids, alkaline solutions, and sewage. Because of its completely sealed housing, the motor can be safely operated under poor environmental conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, meaning that it is a touch-proof and dust-proof servo motor that is impenetrable by sprays from water jets.
