Product Description
The MSK synchronous motors are a series of ultra-modern motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They are part of the IndraDyn S family; hence they are characterized by a high torque density and compact construction. The MSK motors are innovative products that are available in different power spectrums; hence, they can be applied for a variety of operations. They are commonly used in machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, foodstuff and packaging machines, and metal-forming machine tools.
The MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UG0-RNNN is an MSK motor with frame size 071 and frame length D. It has a maximum torque of 66Nm and a maximum current of 40.5A. Its design allows for heat to be dissipated via natural convection; hence it is a self-cooling motor. It also features a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring for the attachment of drive elements. The sealing rings are resistant to oils and chemicals. This motor, similar to other MSK motors, is compatible with the gearboxes of the GTM and GTE series.
At standstill, the surface continuous torque of MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UG0-RNNN is 26.3N/m. With a black 2K- Epoxy hard coating, this product is protected against damage by diluted acids and alkaline solutions. For operations with both axial and radial loads, it has a bearing lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. This motor is best operated in a space with an ambient temperature of 40°C or less. It is an IP 65-rated product per DIN EN 60529 standards; thus, it has complete protection against dust ingress. It cannot be penetrated by water either. In addition, it has four pole pairs and can attain a maximum speed of 3,800 revolutions per minute.
