Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for designing and manufacturing relevant solutions in the drive and motion industry. The MSK synchronous motor series is a solution from Bosch Rexroth with numerous uses. These motors are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They have a compact design that supports their extensive functionality and easy installation. Their areas of applications include machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071D-0300-NN-M1-UP2-NNNN model of the MSK synchronous motor series is equipped with an output shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring. This output shaft permits the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction, with low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. It is also equipped with a holding brake that holds the axes at a standstill when the machine is disconnected from power. The motor's encoder is the multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder permits the absolute indirect position monitoring of the motor and controls its speed.
The cooling method of the MSK071D-0300-NN-M1-UP2-NNNN is via natural convection, and it permits the installation of fan units. Fan units are required for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The motor’s housing varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This gives chemical resistance against diluted acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils and limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. Also, the motor has a protection rating of IP 65; hence it is completely touch-proof and dustproof. With its housing and protection rating, this MSK model is maintenance-free and can be operated under adverse environmental conditions.
