Product Description
The MSK series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth are dynamic servo motors with a wide range of applications. Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors have a compact design, which gives them a high torque density and allows for easy installation. Motors in this series are equipped with optical encoder systems that guarantee a high degree of precision. They can be used as linear drives and kit motors and are typically used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071D-0300-NN-M1-UP0-NSNN is a model in Bosch Rexroth's MSK series equipped with the multiturn absolute optical encoder type with the Hiperface interface. This encoder permits absolute, indirect position evaluation within 4,096 mechanical rotations and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It also has a data memory that serves as storage for the motor name, control loop parameters, and other motor parameters. Due to the data memory, the motor startup is quick and easy, and adaptation to the drive control unit is safe. Heat loss in this self-cooling motor model is via natural convection into the ambient air and by heat conduction to the machine construction.
When operations with high repetition rates are carried out, fan units can be mounted on the MSK071D-0300-NN-M1-UP0-NSNN. It is equipped with an output shaft with a shaft sealing ring and a keyway as per DIN 6885-1. The radial shaft sealing ring prevents liquids from entering the motor through its shaft. The motor's protection rating is IP 65; hence, it is completely touch-proof and dustproof. Due to its protection rating, it can be operated under adverse environmental conditions with little risk of damage.
