Product Description
The synchronous servo motors of Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series are designed to be compact, giving them a high torque density and simplifying installation. They are also equipped with highly precise encoder systems for controlling speed and position. These motors are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and are used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are also well-suited for use in machine tools, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071C-0300-FN-S1-UG0-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor model in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. It is a liquid-cooled motor with a maximum speed of 5,000 revolutions per minute. The moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00173 kgm2, and it has a maximum current rating of 32.9A. There is a single-turn encoder with an Hiperface interface in this MSK model. This encoder operates using the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It has an inbuilt data storage feature where the motor’s parameters are saved to ensure its rapid boot up. The data storage also allows it to adapt safely to its drive controller.
Heat elimination from the MSK071C-0300-FN-S1-UG0-NNNN is by a liquid cooling system. Hence, it is suitable for extreme loads, as seen in duration start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The heat is dissipated into the ambient air via a coolant released through a downstream heat exchanger unit. Machine elements to be driven are connected to this servo motor via a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. It permits a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and the noiseless operation of the motor. The ideal ambient temperature for this motor’s operation is a maximum of 40oC.
