Product Description
The MSK synchronous motors manufactured by Bosch Rexroth are powerful servo motors with extensive functionality. They are characterized by high dynamics, high torque density, and high precision, all in a compact package. There are different motor models in the MSK series, and they differ based on their interfaces and driving powers. These motors are used as rotary main and servo drive motors in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The high precision of the MSK071C-0300-FN-M2-UG2-RNNN results from its encoder, which is the multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder uses the optical measurement method and allows the recording of the motor's absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations. The motor is equipped with an electrically-released holding brake with holding torque of 40Nm. It holds the axes at a standstill when the motor is not in use, and its connection is part of the power connector. The power connector and the encoder connector make up the electrical connection of this motor model.
The MSK071C-0300-FN-M2-UG2-RNNN is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 - design A. This allows the motor to run quietly with a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection. The protection rating of the motor is IP 65 according to DIN EN 60529. Hence, the motor has complete shock protection and is protected against the penetration of dust and damage from water jets. For optimal function, the motor should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%.
