Product Description
Bosch Rexroth uses up-to-date technology to manufacture innovative solutions in the drive industry. One of its solutions is the MSK synchronous motor series designed with high functionality and used across different fields. They are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors and are used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics. The MSK motors are compact and are characterized by high torque density, high dynamics, and high precision.
The MSK071C-0300-FN-M2-UG2-RNNK of the MSK series has four pole pairs and a maximum speed of 5,000 rpm. It is a maintenance-free motor equipped with a multiturn absolute integrated encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder allows the evaluation of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. The motor's maximum torque is 44.0Nm, and the moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00173kgm2. Its output shaft is plain with a shaft sealing ring which provides a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection with a high degree of quiet running.
The holding brake of the MSK071C-0300-FN-M2-UG2-RNNK operates with the electrically-released principle and has a holding torque of 30Nm. This MSK model has a liquid-cooled design which makes it suitable for continuous start-stop operations. Its housing varnish is a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This varnish is resistant to dilute acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, current mineral oils, organic solvents, and hydraulic oil. It should be operated at an ambient temperature range of 0°C and 40°C and a maximum relative humidity of 95%.
