The MSK synchronous motors are manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and are applicable across different fields. They are effective servo motors with high torque density and functionality in a compact package. The motors can be used to build drive systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. Their fields of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.

The MSK071C-0300-FN-M1-UG2-NNNN is a model of the MSK motors by Bosch Rexroth. Its integrated optical encoder is the multi-turn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder allows absolute, indirect position evaluation within 4,096 mechanical rotations. It also has a data memory where the motor's parameters are stored, ensuring its quick startup. This model is equipped with the standard plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. It ensures quiet running with its non-positive shaft hub connection and zero backlash. In this motor, there is a holding brake that operates according to the principle of electrical release with a torque of 30Nm. The holding brake holds the motor axes at a standstill when the motor is disconnected from power.

As a liquid-cooled motor, the MSK071C-0300-FN-M1-UG2-NNNN is suitable for operations with extreme loads, such as start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Hence, heat dissipation occurs over the coolant and is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. The motor temperature is monitored by two systems that function independently, the temperature sensor and the temperature model. These systems ensure that the motor is protected against irreversible damage by thermal overload. The max RH of this motor has a rating of 95%, and its permissible ambient temperature is 40°C (max).
