Product Description
By adopting future-proof technology for innovative products, Bosch Rexroth has become one of the most reliable brands in the global drive industry. The company designed the compact MSK servo motor series with high torque density and functionality. These motors are suitable for building drive systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are also used as rotary and servo main motors in machine tools and robotics.
The MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UP0-NNNN is a model of the MSK family of motors by Bosch Rexroth. The maintenance-free motor is equipped with a multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder detects and records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. The information obtained is sent to the drive controller, but is preserved even when there is a voltage switch-off. Heat dissipation in the MSK motor is achieved through natural convection, where the heat is transferred to the ambient air or the motor construction through conduction.
Fan units can be mounted on the MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UP0-NNNN when operations with high levels of continuous power are carried out. The Ingress Protection rating of the motor is IP 65, meaning that it is completely touch-proof and dust-proof. As a result, it can be operated in poor environmental conditions without a low risk of damage. This motor’s maximum speed is 3,500 revolutions per minute while its maximum torque is 44.0Nm. It has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00173 kgm2 and four pole pairs. It also features an output shaft with a shaft sealing ring and a keyway, according to DIN 6885-1. This shaft sealing ring is designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A.
