Product Description
Drive systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system are built with highly functional components. One of such components is the MSK servo motor in the IndraDyn S family. It is a powerful servo motor with a compact size and high torque density. The motors in the MSK series are used as rotary main and servo drive motors in applications including machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UG1-NNNN is a model of the synchronous servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. Its maximum speed is 3,500 revolutions per minute, while the moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00173 kgm2. It has four pole pairs and a maximum torque of 44.0Nm. The integrated encoder system in this motor is a multi-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. It allows the motor’s absolute, indirect position to be recorded within 4,096 rotations and uses the optical measurement method. The encoder also features a data memory where the motor’s parameters are filed, ensuring its quick startup and risk-free adjustment to the drive controller.
Heat is dissipated by natural convection in the MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UG1-NNNN. The motor’s output shaft is a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A. It ensures quiet running with its non-positive shaft-hub connection and zero backlash. There is also an electrically-released holding brake with 23Nm holding torque here. It holds the axes at a standstill when the motor is de-energized and requires a voltage of 24V. The permitted ambient temperature for the operation of this MSK motor model is in a range between 0oC and 40oC, while the suitable maximum relative air humidity is 95%.
