Product Description
Servo motors in the IndraDyn S family by Bosch Rexroth are designed with unique features such as high torque density, compact size, and improved encoder systems. The MSK servo motors are a group of synchronous motors in this family. They are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system but are also used as rotary main and servo drive motors in numerous industrial applications.
The MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN is an MSK servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The synchronous motor is self-cooled using natural convection and can be equipped with a fan unit. This fan unit is required when the motor is used for applications with high levels of continuous power. Its encoder is a multi-turn type with the Hiperface interface, which allows the recording of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 rotations. The encoder uses the optical measuring principle for high precision and saves the absolute position of the axis after a switch-off. It also eliminates the need for a separate absolute value encoder in this MSK motor.
A plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring is the output shaft of the MSK071C-0200-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN. It provides a non-positive, shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and quiet running. The shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760 – design A and is resistant to harmful oils and chemicals. This motor’s maximum speed is 3,500 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque is 44.0Nm. It has four pole pairs and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00173 kgm2. The Ingress Protection rating of the motor is IP 65 according to IEC 60529, indicating that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impervious to jet water sprays.
