Product Description
The synchronous servo motors of the MSK series from Bosch Rexroth are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors with a wide range of applications. They are used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics. The motors in this series differ based on their interfaces and driving powers. They are all characterized by high dynamics, high torque density, and a high degree of precision.
The encoder of the MSK071C-0200-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN is the integrated multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder system records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. It has a plain output shaft with an electrically-released holding brake. The holding brake holds the motor axis when the machine is disconnected from power. There are two electrical connections in this MDD model: the power connector and the encoder connector. The power connector includes a connection for the holding brake and the temperature sensor. Its temperature sensor protects the motor from irreversible damage from thermal overload.
The MSK071C-0200-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. Its degree of protection is IP 65, which means it has complete shock protection and is protected against the penetration of dust and damage from water jets. The house painting is a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, the housing has chemical resistance against diluted acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils. It is also resistant to organic solvents and hydraulic oil.
