Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the IndraDyn S family of motors, a line of powerful servo motors. One of the series of the motors in this family is the MSK series of synchronous servo motors. These motors are characterized by a high torque density and are suitable for highly dynamic operations. They are also used as rotary main and servo drive motors in numerous applications.
The MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn S family. It is equipped with a highly precise multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder works with the optical measurement method and permits the recording of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored. An added benefit of the encoder is that it preserves the absolute position of the motor axis even when a switch-off occurs.
Heat elimination from the MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN is achieved by natural convection; hence, it is described as a self-cooling motor. It can also be operated maintenance-free within the permitted operating conditions. This servo motor is equipped with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A. The shaft sealing ring is highly resistant to damaging oils and chemicals. Also present on the motor is an electrically-released holding brake with holding torque of 23Nm. The maximum speed of the motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it has six pole pairs. Its rotor has a moment of inertia of 0.00458 kgm2, and its maximum torque is 60.0Nm.
