Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. The different motors in the series differ based on their driving powers and interfaces. They are characterized by high dynamics, high torque density, and high precision due to their new and innovative optical encoder systems. They have several areas of applications, including machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. The maintenance-free motor features a multi-turn absolute integrated encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder permits the recording of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. With the encoder version, the absolute position of the motor’s axis is preserved even after a switch-off. The output shaft of the motor is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring, and it does not have a holding brake.
The environmental conditions for the use of MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UG0-RNNN are a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%. It is a self-cooling motor where the heat dissipation is realized over natural convection. The heat is transferred to the ambient air, and the machine construction by heat conduction. This motor’s housing varnish is a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It is resistant to dilute acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, current mineral oils, organic solvents, and hydraulic oil. Its degree of protection is IP 65; therefore, it is protected against the penetration of dust, shock, and damage from water jets.
