The Bosch MSK070E-0300-NN-S3-UP0-NNNN is a MSK series synchronous servo motor. Among other Bosch controllers, it is compatible with DDS digital controllers. The motor features an integrated encoder. The encoder is a singleturn capacitive encoder with 128 signal periods. Singleturn encoders provide feedback inside a single revolution of the motor shaft. The encoder measures motor speed and other parameters and send this information through a dedicated feedback cable to the controller. Both the feedback connector and power connector on the MSK070E-0300-NN-S3-UP0-NNNN can be rotated 240 degrees in either direction. The main shaft on the motor includes a keyway as per DIN 6885-1. The keyway helps to prevent relative rotation between the motor shaft and the machine it is attached to. The motor shaft also includes a sealing ring. The enclosed motor housing, sealed connectors and shaft seal help to protect the motor from external contaminants.
