Product Description
The MSK synchronous motors are part of the IndraDyn S motor family. They are dynamic motors with a compact construction and high torque density. The MSK motors present different drive powers and available interfaces; hence, they can be adapted for application-specific uses. They can generally function as rotary main drives or linear drives in machine tools, metal forming machines, printing and paper processing machines, and packaging and foodstuff machines.
The MSK070E-0150-NN-S2-UG1-RNNN is an MSK motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its motor frame size and winding code are 070 and 0150, respectively. Common to other MSK motors, heat generated by this motor is eliminated via natural convection; hence it is a self-cooling motor. It features a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring for the attachment of drive elements. The sealing ring is made of Therban; thus, it shows high resistance to the damaging effects of oils and chemicals. At a standstill surface, this motor presents a continuous torque of 34.5Nm and a continuous current of 9.6A. A 23Nm holding brake is available to clamp the motor's axis when the machine is disconnected from power.
The maximum speed of the MSK070E-0150-NN-S2-UG1-RNNN is 2,200 revolutions per minute. At 20°C, it has a voltage constant of 242.4 V/min-1 and torque constant of 3.94Nm/A. This motor is equipped with a single-turn optical encoder with EnDat 2.1, which provides information on the current rotor's position. With this encoder system, there is no need for a separate incremental encoder system. The motor is classified as a product of protection class IP 65. Therefore, it is completely protected against dust ingress.
