Product Description
The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is a Bosch Rexroth masterpiece with state-of-the-art components, including servo motors, frequency converters, power units, and more. The MSK IndraDyn S servo motor family is a series of servo motors in this system. Motors in the series are compact, versatile, and powerful and come in a broad power spectrum and sizes of varying degrees.
The MSK070C-0450-NN-M2-UP1-RNNN is an IndraDyn S servo motor model in the MSK series. It is a compact motor with high dynamics and a high torque density suitable for functions beyond what is the standard for regular servo motors. It is cooled by natural convection and has been described as a self-cooling motor. The heat generated during its operation is transferred to the ambient air through convection and to the body of the machine by conduction. To control this motor’s speed and position, its drive controller requires information on its rotor position. This information is obtained with its integrated multiturn absolute optical encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface.
The shaft of the MSK070C-0450-NN-M2-UP1-RNNN is one with a keyway according to the DIN 6885-1 standard and a shaft sealing ring. It is equipped with an electrically-released holding brake of 23Nm torque. Its maximum torque is 33.0Nm, and it has 6 pole pairs. The moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00291 kgm2. This motor belongs to the IP 65 protection category according to IEC 60529, hence it cannot be penetrated by dust, solid extrinsic objects, or water jets. Its housing is covered with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating that is resistant to dilute acids/alkaline solutions, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils.
