Product Description
Rexroth Bosch group is a specialist in equipment such as controls, power supplies, motors, drives, and accessories. This group was founded many years ago. It was intended to produce motion control solutions for various industrial applications. The Rexroth IndraDyn MSK motors feature a unique variety of motor designs which are all engineered in delivering cost-effective, high speed, and reliable performance required in automation applications for factories today.
The MSK motors’ electrical connection is standardized for all sizes of frames. These motors are provided with an encoder connection and a power connector which includes temperature sensor as well as holding brake connection. For continuous use of the MSK motors, Rexroth recommends the operating conditions defined in class 3K4 as per the DIN EN 60721-3-3. These motors are designed according to design B05. The allowable conditions of installation for these motors as stated in the EN 60034-7:1993 include IM B35, 1M B5, IM V3, and IM V1. Motors attached or installed as per the IM V3 installation position may be damaged by the fluid available in the output shaft after a long period of time.
The housing of the MSK070C-0450-NN-M1-UG0-NNNN motor is varnished with black (RAL9005) paint, which is resistant against mineral oils, water, lyes, seawater, diluted acids, and sewage. The paint is also partially resistant against hydraulic oil as well as organic solvents. Concentrated acids should never be in contact with the housing paint of the motor since it can cause corrosion. This motor provides complete scalability alongside options of performance for standard as well as complex applications. Additionally, this motor has an electrically released holding brake. The holding brake should not be used as the operating brake. Activation of the holding brake repeatedly while the drive is still rotating or allowing excess braking energy should be avoided since it can cause wear and tear to take place earlier than anticipated.
