The MSK070 is one of the powerful motor series in the Rexroth IndraDyn S series. They are durable, synchronous motors made for high-power use. These motors are configured to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors and can be used across different fields. The MSK070C-0300-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN has a high torque density, allowing for a compact motor design with a maximum torque of up to 33 Nm. It has a maximum speed of 5,500 revolutions per minute and is equipped with a 240° rotatable plug.
The MSK070C-0300-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN has an optical encoder, Singleturn EnDat 2.1, with 2048 increments that allow complete, indirect position storage within one mechanical rotation. It has a system accuracy of +/- 20 angular seconds. Its output shaft has a keyway per DIN 6885-1 with a shaft sealing ring, and it tolerates shaft extension runout and axial runout according to DIN 42955.
The MSK070C-0300-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN should be operated at an ambient temperature of 0°C to 40°C and relative air humidity of 5% to 95 %. It should also be mounted not more than 1,000m above sea level. Heat by the motor is dissipated through natural convection to the ambient air and heat conduction to the machine. The MSK070C-0300-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN is rated IP 65 according to the IEC 60529 because it is dustproof, protected against contact, and resistant to water jets. The housing varnish is a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This coating offers the motor full chemical resistance against diluted acids and alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, water, seawater, and sewage. It offers partial resistance against hydraulic oil and organic solvents.
