The Bosch Rexroth MSK061C-0600-NN-S2-UP1-RNNN is a MSK series servo motor. it is designed for industrial applications. The motor is used in combination with a drive controller. The function of the drive controller is to provide electrical power to the motor and to control motor operating parameters such as speed and torque. The drive controller is able to do this as it receives feedback from the motor about its current operating parameters. This information is provided by a device – called an encoder - on the motor. The encoder’s function is to measure motor parameters. The encoder on the MSK061C-0600-NN-S2-UP1-RNNN is an optical singleturn encoder that is rated for 2048 signal periods. Bosch has also provided an electrically releasing holding brake on the MSK061C-0600-NN-S2-UP1-RNNN motor. This brake is rated for 10 Nm holding torque.
