Product Description
The MSK series designed by Bosch Rexroth features servo motors with high torque densities and dynamics. They are available in a wide power spectrum and varying sizes, allowing users to select the ones that are best suited for their applications. They are used as rotary and servo main drives in operations like robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK061C-0300-NN-S3-UP1-NNNN is a servo motor of the MSK series of synchronous motors. It is a compact model with a frame length C and a frame size indicated as 061 by Bosch Rexroth. As a self-cooling motor, its heat dissipation mechanism is by natural convection, where the heat generated by its operation is transferred to the ambient air. Fan units can also be mounted for more efficient cooling, especially when it is used for continuous operations or at high repetition rates. The motor’s housing belongs to the IP 65 protection category and will obstruct the entry of solid materials from outside and water jets, all of which can potentially cause damage to it.
The encoder system of the MSK061C-0300-NN-S3-UP1-NNNN is a single-turn encoder with a Hiperface interface and 16 signal periods. It displays a high degree of precision in determining the motor’s position and controlling its speed due to its use of the optical measuring principle. It also features a data memory that promotes the safe adaptation of the motor to its drive controller and ensures its quick startup. This MSK model is equipped with an electrically-released holding brake of 10Nm holding torque and a shaft that has a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and radial shaft sealing rings according to DIN 3760 – design A.
