The MSK series of motors is one of the synchronous servo motor series in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. They are a class of servo motors under the IndraDyn S family and display a high torque density and broad power spectrum. Their most popular applications are seen in machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, and packaging and food-processing machines.

The MSK060C-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is a model of the IndraDyn S MSK servo motor series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a frame size of 060 and a frame length C with a maximum torque of 24.0Nm. The top speed of this motor is 6,000 rpm and the moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00080 kgm². Its motor encoder system is the integrated single-turn absolute encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface, which uses the optical method to determine the motor speed and position. It eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder while permitting the recording of the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation.

The cooling of the MSK060C-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is by natural convection. Because of this cooling mechanism, the motor is called a self-cooling motor. The heat generated in the machine is dissipated to the ambient air through convection and to the machine construction by conduction.
