Product Description
The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is one of Bosch Rexroth’s most innovative products, with several components combined to give a safe and highly functional system. The servo motors of the MSK series are components of this system under the IndraDyn S family of motors. They are particularly notable for their wide power spectrum and variety of sizes so that users can choose which specifications are best suited for their desired applications.
The MSK060C-0600-NN-S1-UP0-NSNN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor in the MSK series. It works as a rotary main and servo drive and is equipped with numerous features that suit these functions. An integrated single-turn absolute encoder with a Hiperface interface is present in this servo motor model. It works with the optical measuring principle for controlling the speed and adjusting the motor’s position as required. It does this by supplying the required signals to the drive controller connected to it. The system accuracy of the encoder is ±80 angular seconds, and it allows the recording of the absolute indirect position of the motor within one mechanical rotation.
Natural convection is the supported cooling method for the MSK060C-0600-NN-S1-UP0-NSNN based on its housing design. The heat from the motor is transferred by convection to the ambient air at the site and by conduction to the machine itself. Hence, this motor is referred to as a self-cooling motor. Its maximum torque is 24.0 Nm, while its maximum current is 38.0A. Its maximum speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and its thermal time constant is 14.0min. The Ingress Protection rating of this motor is IP 65 as it is impenetrable to potentially harmful extrinsic objects.
