For this reason, it is equipped with a singleturn encoder. The motor is deployed in combination with a motor controller that receives feedback from the motor and adjusts its output to bring motor parameters in line with desired values programmed during motor commissioning. This servo motor is designed for convection cooling. MSK series motors designed for higher loads support other cooling methods such as surface cooling and liquid cooling. The MSK060C-0300-NN-S1-UP0-NNNN motor delivers rated output when two conditions are met: the ambient temperature is less than 40 degrees Celsius and the site elevation is less than 1000 meters. Output of the servo motor derates if ambient conditions exceed these limits.

Operation with derated output is permitted by Bosch at temperature of up to 55 degrees Celsius and site elevations of up to 3000 meters. However, operation with derated output is not recommended as it can lead to component malfunction or failure. The motor has a shaft with keyway. The shaft is equipped with a sealing ring. This seal on the motor shaft protects bearings from external contaminants. The shaft also prevents leakage of motor oil. A flange on the IP65 rated motor housing enables secure attachment to the machine. The standstill torque and current of the MSK060C-0300-NN-S1-UP0-NNNN motor are 8 Nm and 4.8 Amps respectively.
