Product Description
MSK060C-0300-NN-M1-UP1-NNNN is a servo motor. It is part of the MSK series from Bosch Rexroth. MSK motors are characterized by dynamics, compact construction, a high torque density and an extremely high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems. MSK motor are synchronous servo motors. The motor speed for synchronous motors is synchronized to the input current frequency. The benefits of synchronous motors include their ability to control the power factor, provide precise speed control, operate at a constant speed irrespective of the load. These motors offer higher efficiencies, especially in low-speed and unity power factor applications. Six encoders are available for MSK motors, including three singleturn encoders and three multiturn encoders. The MSK060C-0300-NN-M1-UP1-NNNN features a multiturn encoder with Hiperface support. This encoder permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical rotations. The encoder replaces a separate absolute value encoder on the motor. With this encoder, the absolute position of the axis is preserved even after the motor is switched off.
The MSK060C-0300-NN-M1-UP1-NNNN motor also features an optional holding brake. This is a safety device, designed to allow shaft rotation after reception of a 24 Volts DC release signal. The motor has a shaft with keyway and a shaft sealing ring. Typical motor applications machine tools, printing and paper processing machines and metal-forming machine tools. The motor is designed for convection cooling. It requires 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature for rated output. The permitted peak temperature with output derating is 55 degrees Celsius. The site elevation should be between 0 and 1000 meters. The maximum permitted altitude with derated output is 3000 meters. With an IP65 rated housing, the motor can be deployed in a wide range of conditions.
