It is a synchronous servo motor with extremely high precision as it is equipped with an optical multiturn absolute encoder with a Hiperface interface. The system accuracy of the optical encoder is ±80 angular seconds, and it allows the absolute, indirect position to be recorded within 4,096 motor revolutions. The motor can attain a top speed of 4,800 revolutions per minute and has a thermal time constant of 16.0 minutes. Its maximum torque is 15.0 Nm and the moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00048 kgm2.

Thanks to its compact configuration, the MSK060B-0300-NN-M2-UP1-RNNN servo motor can be installed easily for effective space optimization. It has 4 pole pairs and is equipped with an electrically releasing holding brake of 10Nm torque. For its cooling, natural convection is the mechanism adopted by this motor.
