Product Description
The MSK series of servomotors are one of the finest Rexroth Indramat products. Tagged as the ‘IndraDyn-S’, these motors are built to offer quality performance across a wide range of industrial applications. The MSK050C-0600-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN is a speed and accuracy inclined variant of the MSK type code, and it is designed in accordance with the best of standards in modern servo-motor manufacturing.
The motor has a flange size of 98mm and a centering diameter of 95mm. It is 243mm long (including a rotor length of 40mm). While all the MSK050C-type motors have the same standstill and maximum torque of 5.0Nm and 15.0Nm respectively, the MSK050C-0600 class (which this motor belongs to) further has the highest currents of 6.2A at standstill and 24.8A at maximum. This implies more speed for the motor at a maximum of 6000min-1. The motor has a thermal time constant of 14 mins (time taken for the motor to heat up to 63% of its permissible housing temperature of 40℃). It also supports housing overtemperature by up to 60K. To improve reliability, the motor comes with a temperature sensor and has an IP65 protection class against dust and water. It also cools off through natural convection to ensure heat does not accumulate and cause damages.
This motor supports closed-loop feedback via an optical encoder (multiturn-absolute EnDat2.1 with 2048 signal periods). The shaft is designed with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 with shaft sealing rings, and it does not feature a holding brake. Finally, it comes in a standard housing with increased concentricity and run out according to DIN 42955, along with a 240o rotatable set of electrical connectors for power cable and encoder output.
