Product Description
MSK motors belong to the IndraDyn S series, and they are an innovative synchronous servomotor built with up-to-date technology. The motors in this series are pioneering new automation standards and are characterized by compact construction, high dynamics, high precision, and high torque density. As part of the MSK product line is the MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN, a 5.4 kg servomotor with a frame size of 50 and frame length of C. For adequate protection against intrusion and harsh weather conditions, this unit is built in a housing. Due to the housing design, its heat dissipation process is aided by natural convection. Also, the MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is equipped with a single-turn optical encoder with 2048 increments for effective electronic communication with linked equipment.
The MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN can deliver a maximum torque of 15 Nm and a maximum current of 12.4 A. It attains a maximum speed of 4700 RPM during operation, and its rotor inertia is 0.00033 kgm2. Also, its permissible sound pressure level is below 75 dB. It has a rotatable electrical connection plug with rotation angles up to 240 degrees. This motor’s shaft is standard and plain, and it has a sealing ring that prevents the ingress of water. MSK motors vary in design and functionality, and unlike other variants with holding brakes for standstill operations, the MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN does not have an integrated holding brake.
According to DIN 42955, the design of the MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN equips it with a reduced shaft run-out that ensures that the shaft centreline of the motor does not deviate from its main rotation axis. If the MSK050C-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is found damaged or with functional defects, it should not be mounted or used to prevent injuries to personnel.
