The MSK040C-0600-NN-S3-UG1-NNNN synchronous servomotor is integrated with a 4Nm holding brake. The holding brake works on the electrically releasing principle. The Bosch Rexroth motor has four pole pairs. The device portrays a maximum operating temperature of 55°C. The drive used with the unit is to be brought to a standstill by using the machine-side control commands when the motor is being shut down. It should be cooled down completely before maintenance. The motor surface can take up to 140 minutes to cool down. The functioning of the device tends to be adversely affected because of excessive dust, dirt or chips.
