Product Description
MSK products belong to the IndraDyn S series of servomotors manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. These motors are pioneering new standards in automation by combining emerging technologies with past experiences. Servomotors in the Rexroth MSK series are characterized by extremely high precision, high dynamics, high torque density, and compact design. Generally, MSK motors feature an encoder system that enhances their operational accuracy. The MSK040C-0600-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN is one of the many synchronous motors designed and developed by Rexroth Indramat. This motor has four (4) pole pairs and a frame size of C, which determines its mechanical specifications. In addition, the frame size of any MSK motor is proportional to its performance variables.
The MSK040C-0600-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN utilizes a plain drive shaft that enables it to connect to the machine to be driven. It features a standard design with explosion protection, and its winding code is 0600. The cooling mode of this unit is natural convection, and it leverages an optical encoder. Also, the encoder is equipped with a multiturn Hiperface. The maximum current and maximum torque of the MSK040C-0600-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN are rated at 8 Amperes and 5.1 Nm, respectively. As per material construction, the protection type of this unit is IP 65, and it conforms with the 155-insulation category.
The MSK040C-0600-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN is not equipped with a holding brake. It utilizes a plug-type rotatable (up to 240 degrees) electrical connection. The maximum velocity of this motor’s rotor is rated at 7500 RPM, and the rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.00014 kgm2. Also, it has a maximum current of 12.4 Amperes and weighs 3.6 kilograms. In operation, the allowable environmental temperature range is within the range of 0 – 40 oC.
