Product Description
The MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK series motor. The MSK series is characterized by wide performance spectrum and fine size gradation. MKS motors are available with maximum torque of up to 631 Nm. Improper product handling can lead to injury and personal damage. Bosch does not provide any warranty for damage caused by use of MSK motors that is not authorized by the manufacturer. MKS motors are designed for use as servo drive motors and as rotary main motors for industrial applications such as robotics, printing machines, packaging machines and machine tools. MSK motors such as the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN motor should only be used with accessories specified in the manufacturer documentation. The encoder on the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN is an optical multi-turn device with 128 signal periods. Maximum current consumption of the encoder is 60 milliamps and the supply voltage is 7 to 12 Volts.
Motor specifications for the 60 K overtemperature condition include 1.7 Nm continuous torque, 2 Amps continuous current, 5.1 Nm continuous torque and 8 Amps maximum current. The 60 K data are valid for the following conditions: 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, insulated construction, motors with radial shaft sealing ring and maximum temperature increase on housing of 60 K. The MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN motor cools through natural convection. The shaft on the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN is smooth and includes a sealing ring. Protection rating of the motor is IP65: this high rating allows the motor to be mounted outside cabinets and near the operating machines, which allows cost savings and high system reliability due to reduced cable runs. The MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-UG0-NSNN does not feature a holding brake. The motor should only be used with compatible drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth.
