Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a leading manufacturer and service provider for high-quality motion control devices. Bosch produces economical and market-competitive motion control products.
The MSK040B-0450-NN-M1-UG1-NSNN model is specially designed by Rexroth Indramat to operate under unfavorable environmental conditions. The MSK040 synchronous motor comes with a 24V motor holding brake to hold the servo axis at standstill during deceleration state. The holding brake generates the holding torque of 4 Nm with the connection and disconnection time of 25 ms and 35 ms. The motor is designed to take input power from the 3-phase 400 – 480 VAC, supplied by the respective servo drive module. The model delivers the continuous torque of 1.7 Nm while operating at the rated current of 1.5 A with the 60-K increase in housing temperature and with the 100-K increase in winding temperature, the motor generates the continuous torque of 1.9 Nm at the rated current of 1.7 A. The maximum current requirement of the motor is 6 A while delivering the maximum torque of 5.1 Nm at the speed of 6000 rpm. The MSK040 synchronous motor operates at the constant voltage of 77.8 V/rpm. The motor comes under the IP65 protection category and ATEX standard. The overall weight of the MSK motor is 2.8 kg.
The model MSK040B-0450-NN-M1-UG1-NSNN should only be operated together with the parts and modules approved by Rexroth. A multiturn Hiperface optical encoder is installed for indirect position detection. The encoder detects the exact position of the shaft and transmits the electrical signals to the drive controller. The plain rotor is placed in this unit to deliver the output power of the motor. The model is specially developed for cluster 2 in an EX and standard design. The MSK040 motor should be mounted in the allowable mounting positions prescribed in the user manual.
