Product Description
The MS2N04-B0BNN-CMSK0-NNNNP-NN is an MS2N synchronous AC servo motor with a frame length of B. This particular B0BNN configuration allows this AC motor to rotate at a speed of 3000 rotations per minute. It also comes with a self-cooling feature to help the motor keep its temperature under control using natural convection with the help of ambient air from the surroundings. To ensure that natural convection cooling is effective, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMSK0-NNNNP-NN must be operated within an environment with an ambient temperature between 0 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius.
To make sure the output of the servo rotation is as accurate as possible when it comes to shaft positioning, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMSK0-NNNNP-NN comes with a multiturn encoder with the encoder protocol supporting an advanced 20-bit ACURO Link encoder protocol which also supports SIL 2 safety protocol to ensure the motor does not overheat. The motor uses a PT1000 RTD sensor to sense the coil temperature. This sensor combined with the ACURO Link protocol generates a warning signal at 140 degrees Celsius of coil temperature while for temperatures more than 145 degrees Celsius, this servo motor will automatically isolate itself from the power supply shutting the motor down.
The maximum speed this AC servo motor can offer is up to 6000 rpm of speed while offering a maximum rotational torque of 6.4 Nm in cold conditions or 5.9 Nm in the case of hot temperature conditions. Since this servo motor does not come with a holding brake, this servo motor has a rotational inertia of 0.00007 kgm² which allows the servo motor to attain a high speed within a short span of time allowing the motor to quickly adjust its speed especially when it comes to applications which constantly require speed adjustments when operating on a PID system.
