Product Description
With a maximum speed output of 6000 rotations per minute, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMDG0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth Indramat is the perfect AC servo motor designed for high-speed applications as well as low-torque robotics applications. This servo motor has a nominal torque rating of 6.4 Nm while drawing a current of 4.9 amperes from the supply unit while being operated at 179 volts AC to 480 volts AC with the polyphase configuration. The motor input voltage must have an input frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
The motor coil has a winding resistance of 26.2 ohms which helps reduce power dissipation by keeping the coil resistance very low and allowing large sums of current to flow through. Since large currents can flow easily, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMDG0-NNNNN-NN may get hot much more quickly, and to tackle the heating problem, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMDG0-NNNNN-NN relies on the natural convection cooling method which uses the ambient air and the motor's aluminum body to help keep the motor coil and the mechanicals cool. The motor coil has an inductive rating of 110.09 mH which helps reduce spikes on the input voltage to the coil, providing a stable and clean supply to the motor coil. The leakage capacitance of this servo motor has a rating of 1.1 nF.
To mount the motor using the 60 mm flange, the motor should first be connected with the flange using the M7 screws to keep the motor perfectly aligned with the flange connected to the processing system or any other machinery. The connector on the motor is an M17 rotatable connector which can be moved in any direction to allow it to be easily accessible for users to connect it with the supply or any other communication interface.
