The MS2N04-B0BNN-CMDG0-NNNNE-NN is a multiturn absolute AC servo motor that features the Hiperface absolute encoder capable of not only counting the steps for positioning the motor shaft accurately but can also count the number of turns that it performs. This motor comes with the CMDG0 configuration which translates to this motor featuring the Advanced 20-bit ACURO Link encoder interface with the SIL 2 safety protocol to shut the motor in the case the motor coil exceeds the 145 degrees Celsius temperature limit. To monitor the motor coil temperature, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CMDG0-NNNNE-NN comes with the PT1000 temperature RTD sensor.
This motor has a nominal speed rating of 3000 rpm while at the maximum speed, this servo motor has a speed limit of 6000 rpm. The motor requires 179 to 480 volts to operate and has a 5 pole design hence the input voltage should be polyphase. The current rating of this particular servo motor is 4.9 Amperes while providing a nominal torque of 6.4 Nm at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. The motor design is electrically efficient as it has a torque constant of 1.73 Nm for every ampere of current that it draws from the power supply module. The voltage constant for this motor design is 104.9 volts for every 1000 rotations per minute.
The shaft design on this motor is a smooth shaft with a shaft seal to prevent the lubrication oil from spilling outside the motor enclosure and the motor also comes with an IP 65 protection rating keeping the motor safe from dust and low levels of water pressure. The aluminum body of the motor is painted with black prime paint to prevent the motor housing from getting oxidized causing it to rust.
