Product Description
With a nominal continuous torque rating of 6.4 Nm, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDK0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is part of the high-speed low inertia servo motors that offer a speed of 3000 rpm while having a low inertia of 0.0004 kgm² which allows this servo to have a quick response rate, causing it to adjust its speed at faster rates. To ensure smooth rotations, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDK0-NNNNN-NN comes with a 5 pole design.
This servo motor comes with a single turn absolute encoder which features the absolute data values of the position to place the shaft much more accurately and uses Hiperface technology with 128 pulses for one complete rotation of the motor shaft. The Hiperface encoders require approximately 7 volts DC to 12 volts DC to operate and have a current draw rating between 0 mA to 250 mA. This servo motor has a very efficient design as it produces 2.38 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that it draws from the power supply unit. For every 1000 rpm of speed that this motor attains, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDK0-NNNNN-NN produces a voltage of 36.2 volts.
To make sure the motor is installed perfectly aligned and secure, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDK0-NNNNN-NN supports a 60 mm flange mount to keep the motor perfectly intact with the machinery and help reduce overall vibration during motor operation. This type of mounting also helps keep the shaft center aligned and helps reduce stress on the shaft of the motor to keep it from bending or breaking during heavy load rotation or high-speed rotation. To ensure the motor does not catch fire or heat up, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDK0-NNNNN-NN relies on the Natural convection cooling method.
