For enhanced industrial control processes, the MS2N04-B0BNN-BSDH1-NNNNN-NN is a low inertial AC servo motor with a rotor inertia rating of 0.00011 kgm² which allows this servo motor to quickly adjust its speed by accelerating and decelerating quickly. This particular motor comes with a holding brake to clamp the rotating shaft of the motor and has a holding torque of 5 Nm. This brake requires 24 volts DC to function and has a current rating of 0.63 Amperes. The clamping delay of this motor is 30 ms while the release delay of the brake is 45 ms.
This particular motor configuration comes with IP 65 protection against dust and moisture since this AC servo motor is meant to be installed in an open industrial area with various environmental factors that may end up affecting the performance of the motor and to prevent that from happening IP 65 protection is much needed. This particular model, however, does come with a smooth shaft but it does not feature a shaft seal. The motor supports flange type mounting with a flange size of 60 mm. This encoder operates on the 128 signals per period configuration and relies on the EIA-485 communication protocol to send and receive data from the motor controller to ensure smooth and secure data transmission.
