Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-D0BYN-CSSL0-NNNNN-NN has a single-turn absolute encoder comprising 1 revolution. It is used for accurate positioning within a single revolution. While multiturn encoders monitor the movement of multiple revolutions, single-turn encoders are designed to measure the angle or position within one revolution. This makes a single-turn encoder perfectly suitable for those applications where it is necessary to have a high degree of accuracy in rotational position like in conveyors, rotary machines, and other similar devices.
One of the main benefits of the M23 single-cable connection which is turnable is that it is much faster to connect than power and signal cables, as requiring fewer cables to connect, and has fewer points where disruption may occur. It also provides an advantage that the connections are turnable and this is flexible and useful in different installation angles. This adjustability is of advantage in small and confined areas, where conventional cable arrangements are considered inconvenient. Flange perfection, denoted by "N" for standard, indicates how the motor is mounted. The flange is a flat round disk-like component of the motor where that is fixed on other machines. Flange perfection helps the motor to fit securely and reduces the vibration. This improves the efficiency and durability of both the motor and the components of the motor used
Single turn encoders are suitable for applications where the ability to produce high-resolution signals is of paramount importance. The M23 single-cable configuration also improves operational effectiveness because of less susceptibility to signal disruption and therefore enhanced motor performance with minimal maintenance. With single-revolution measurement and absolute encoder, these motors provide high performance in automated industries with limited space, high speed, and precise positioning requirements.
