The MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSK0-NNNNE-NN is an induction motor that can generate speeds of up to 9000 rpm. This servo motor features the ACURO link encoder interface that allows this motor to communicate with the control module much more effectively by reducing errors in the communication transmissions, enabling full duplex communication, and not only transmitting the current shaft position but also the current temperature of the motor. The encoder on this motor is a single-turn absolute encoder with a 2048 increment resolution. This encoder requires 5 volts to operate and draws 30 mA of current.
This motor is designed to be low inertia, which allows it to accelerate and decelerate very quickly and has a rotor moment of inertia of 0.37x10^-4 kg·m², making this motor highly responsive when it comes to speed regulation. Controlling the motor speed can also be done by altering the frequency of the AC input supply by keeping it within the frequency range of 50 Hz to 60 Hz for nominal operation. The motor shaft comes with a half-balanced keyway design with shaft sealing to prevent anything from entering the front of the motor and prevent leakage.
To keep the motor dry and safe from dust particles of up to 2 mm in size, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSK0-NNNNE-NN comes with an IP 67 protection rating that also provides protection against scratches of up to 0.2 mm deep. This motor is designed to operate quietly since it does not come with a cooling fan and has a maximum noise level rating of 70 dB when standing up to 1 meter away from it. It supports an exact size flange mounting option and can be mounted at a maximum of 1000 meters above sea level.
