Part of the MS2N03 Asynchronous AC servo motors that come with an on-board temperature sensor, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH1-NNNNE-NN is a 9000 rpm Asynchronous motor that can offer a maximum torque of 7.4 Nm in cold opening conditions. Under normal load, this motor has a rated speed of 5700 rotations per minute and a torque constant of 0.6 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that is drawn by the motor's power supply. This motor has a lightweight design weighing only 2.4 kg including the holding brake that it offers.
To help keep the motor safe from highly toxic and extreme industrial environments, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH1-NNNNE-NN offers an IP 67 protection rating that keeps this motor safe from dust and moisture, preventing oxidation of the motor components leading to rusting. The motor also comes with class F insulation that provides protection against Thermal factors such as heat from fires of up to 170 degrees Celsius. This motor is designed to operate in an environment with an ambient temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius and should be mounted in a well-ventilated area as it uses a natural convection cooling option. In the case of overheating, the motor will generate a warning at 140 degrees Celsius and shut down when it’s over 145 degrees Celsius as a safety precaution.
To enhance the accuracy of the motor shaft positioning, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH1-NNNNE-NN comes with a single-turn absolute encoder. This encoder supports an ACURO Link interface that can transmit both position values as well as temperature values with high precision. This motor also comes with a 1.8 Nm holding brake to keep the shaft locked in a fixed position.
